# Max microphone sampling rate

Hello  
i’m looking before purchasing this board  
I want to do wildlife detection.  
From the example i see the sampling rate from the microphone is fixed to 16kHz.  
Is it possible to change it? and to increase it?  
It seems to me that for example to detect bats, higher frequencies are needed.
